SOUTHLAND CHRISTIAN ACADEMY
Statement of Faith
At Southland Christian Academy, we believe that education is most powerful when it is rooted in the unchanging truth of God's Word. This Statement of Faith summarizes the core biblical convictions that guide our school. We are committed to grounding our students in these truths, providing families with a foundation that lasts for eternity and a worldview that anchors their children in excellence and faith.

What We Believe
God the Father
We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Genesis 1:1, Matthew 28:19, John 10:30
Jesus Christ
Jesus is the Son of God, both fully God and fully man. Through His life, death, and resurrection, He provided the only way for us to be reconciled with the Father. John 15:6
Salvation
Salvation is a free gift from God to anyone who puts their faith in Christ. It is a work of grace that restores our relationship with God. Ephesians 2:8–9
Baptism & Communion
We observe baptism and communion as expressions of our faith, remembering what Jesus did for us and declaring our commitment to Him. Matthew 28:19–20
The Holy Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, authoritative, inerrant Word of God. We believe in the absolute truth of the Bible. 2Â Timothy 3:15, 2 Peter 1:21
The Spirit's Work Today
We believe God works through spiritual gifts today, empowering every believer for service, impact, and a deeper walk with the Lord. 1 Corinthians 12:7
The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit guides us into truth, empowers us for godly living, and comforts us in times of need. He is active in our lives today, helping us grow in Christ-like character. John 16:13
The Church
The Church is the body of Christ on earth, called to share His truth. We believe in the importance of growing together in faith. Ephesians 4:15–16
The Blessed Hope
We look forward to the return of Jesus Christ, our blessed hope. This promise inspires us to live purposefully and share the Gospel with joy. Titus 2:13
